Hadi Abusaad, O.D. obtained his undergraduate degree in Psychology and Child Learning & Development from The University of Texas at Dallas. He then earned his Doctor of Optometry degree at The University of Houston College of Optometry, graduating summa cum laude. During his training, Dr. Abusaad completed rotations focusing on ocular pathology, pediatrics, specialty contact lenses, dry eye disease, and more.
Subsequently, Dr. Abusaad completed an intensive residency in Ocular Disease at The Cedar Springs Eye Clinic in Dallas, TX. There, Dr. Abusaad gained extensive experience in the diagnosis and medical management of ocular pathology including glaucoma, uveitis, cornea & anterior segment disease, ocular infections, posterior segment disease, ocular emergencies, and surgical co-management. His experience also includes specialty contact lens fittings for patients with various corneal diseases including keratoconus and other corneal ectasias, ocular surface disease, post-corneal transplants, and more.
Dr. Abusaad looks forward to providing quality eye care to his patients at Advanced Eye Care Center and is passionate about educating them on their eye diseases. In his free time, Dr. Abusaad enjoys catching up with his friends and family, traveling, and spending time with his cat.
Dr. Abusaad is a member of the Texas Optometric Association, American Academy of Optometry, and American Optometric Association.
